In May 2024, civil rights historian Danita Mason-Hogans led a process to learn from local people about how we might reimagine Peace and Justice Plaza. Part of that work included conducting oral histories in the Community History offices at Chapel Hill Public Library.

We compiled clips from those interviews, along with archival footage, into a short video on the history of this sacred community space.
